There are ten (10) hours of required training in order to adopt from Ethiopia.  One way these hours can be met:

Adoption Learning Partners 

Adoption Learning Partners offers a wide variety of Hague-approved courses.  This training is on-line.  It is highly effective if you begin these courses BEFORE your homestudy interviews. 

We recommend:
"With Eyes Wide Open"  = 4 credit hours 
"Medical Issues in International Adoptions"  = 2.5 credit hours 
"Conspicuous Families"  = 1.5 credit hours 

If you take the recommended courses, you will need to select at least 2 more credit hours to bring your total hours up to the required 10. 

Please note that the "Adoption Tax Credit", "Becoming Your Child's Best Advocate" and "Life Books" will not apply to the 10 required hours.  You will be asked for an agency code when you sign up.  The code is: F204CH.
