#1 Eeyore Can Make A Difference A donkey helps a family by carrying wares to market, serving as a taxi and helping with farming. A donkey can also pull a small cart.  It can make all the difference for success in business.  One donkey—$175

#2 Change A Life!   Sponsorship provides greatly needed hope.  Your monthly child sponsorship provides school tuition, nutritious food, clothing and the opportunity for an education.    Child sponsorship — $30 / month

#3 Powdered Gold   Formula is an absolute    necessity for our orphanages    and it is very expensive to   purchase in Ethiopia.  We    send milk-based formula over   with all of our traveling   families and mission teams.   One can of formula—$15

#4 Home Sweet Home Many families in Gutumuma, Ethiopia are living in extremely run-down huts that need to be replaced.  You can provide materials for a small house for one of the many poverty-stricken families in this village.  There are no labor costs as each family and their friends provide the labor. #5 Football! Children in Ethiopia often play with 'balls' made of rags or paper tied with string.  In the village of Tede a local pastor uses sports as a tool for evangelism and has requested more soccer balls because they wear out so quickly!  We would also like to provide new soccer balls for the children in the village of Gutumuma.    3 balls and a pump — $50

#6 SHEEP AND GOATS A goat or sheep provides a boost to the family income.  Offspring can be sold.  Manure acts as fertilizer to increase crop yields.  The meat is an important source of protein.  They are a valued family possession!     One goat or sheep — $60

#7 A Gift of Clean Water    Many families are sick due to unclean water.  BioSand Filters produce clean water from almost any water source.  It is made of durable materials that last indefinitely, needs only occasional maintenance and requires no electricity.  It only takes up one square foot of space. We'd like to put one in each of our orphanages as well.    BioSand Filter — $100

#8 Sandals For Their Feet   One of the most basic needs in Ethiopia is something to wear on your feet.  You can provide ten pairs of shoes and make an important difference in many lives.    10 pairs of shoes — $25

#9 Eyes to See   The gift of sight is priceless.    Cataract surgery for one widow — $200

#10 Small Business Start-up   Help one woman start an income-producing business such as making injera to sell, a produce stand or other cottage industry.   Small-business start-up — $100
