Christmas Giving 2009
|
 |
Have you ever wondered how you could make your Christmas giving amount to more than fulfilling a wish for someone who already has too much? We have some ideas for you!

Operation Giggle was created to provide Christmas gifts to orphaned children in China. Sherri Roe, Operation Giggle's founder, was overwhelmed with the response to her blog and began to look for more orphans to help. That's when she found Adoption Ministry's blog and website. She contacted Joy Casey and we are now teamed up to supply as many of our children as possible with Christmas gifts!

You can sponsor one child's Christmas for $25 or make a monetary donation to go toward food - such as meat, eggs and milk - for the children and elderly in our Widows and Orphans Home in Adama. Please visit Sherri's blog "Operation Giggle" to read more about this opportunity and to set up your gift by mid-November.

Have you ever given someone a goat for Christmas?

How about a donkey?
Eeyore really can make a difference!

These and many other items that will transform the lives of many families in Ethiopia are available for 'ordering' at our website in our brand new Gift Catalog for 2009-2010. There are gifts both big (a goat!) and small (a pair of shoes or a soccer ball) to match your Christmas budget. What better way to share Christ's love this Christmas?

We had six children come home to three different families in September! And there are quite a few more who will be coming soon - hopefully in November and December. If you haven't already, be sure to check out our blog to read about some of their stories:
